Eligibility & notes

• •Prize money stacks across tiers: an athlete can earn World Cup, Canadian, and (Classic only) Quebec money at the same race.
• •Men and women are paid equally at every level.
• •No poles allowed at any point for podium or prize eligibility. Poles are permitted in the open waves but forfeit any podium or prize.
• •Canadian Championship podium and medals require a valid competitive license from a provincial or territorial federation affiliated with Athletics Canada, plus Canadian citizenship or permanent residency.
• •Athletes are subject to the Canadian Anti-Doping Program (CADP) and may be tested. Prize money is paid about a month after the event, pending anti-doping clearance.
